Limp Lucy handshakes often come from people who are indecisive and weak. Their hand feels like a dead fish and no effort is put forth in the handshake. Bonecrusher Bob, on the other hand may be trying too hard to impress and you may have to wiggle your fingers around to get the circulation back when the handshake is over. Farmer Fred handshakes are those that pump up and down like they're trying to prime the pump for the cows in the back forty. Then there's Two Hand Nellie. Nellie likes to shake with both hands. Nice during the Peace at church, but not so much for a business handshake. And fist bumps are only ok between friends and Howie Mandel. A good strong handshake is firm, but not crushing, a slight pump perhaps, but not over-done. Not held over-long. This handshake says, "hello, I'm a confident person, and I can be trusted."
